The story of Zakariya and Yahya...peace be upon them
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds
May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad
And upon all his family and companions
As for after
Prophets and messengers came to the children of Israel
No prophet leaves without a prophet succeeding him
This is from God's mercy on them
But they were arrogant and arrogant
They disobeyed the command of their Lord’s messengers
When time passed for them, their hearts hardened
Immorality and debauchery increased among them
Evil and evil spread in their society
Their rule was dominated by immoral and powerful kings
They wreak havoc on the earth
And they commit sins and crimes
They do not respect the sanctity of their prophets
Nor the righteous and pious among them
There was a righteous man in Jerusalem
His name is Zechariah
From the descendants of Yaqoub bin Ishaq bin Ibrahim
Peace be upon them all
He used to herd sheep when he was young
Then when he grew up he became a carpenter
He was not defiled by the immorality that his people were
Rather, he was keen to adhere to what he had learned from the law of the prophets
Kiss him
Sincere in his work and worship of his Lord
So God Almighty sent him as a messenger to the children of Israel
So Zechariah, peace be upon him, called his people to the religion of God
And worship Him alone and no one else
They fear his punishment because he continues to disobey his orders
Zechariah, peace be upon him, was harmed by the children of Israel and their rulers
Great terrors and heavy hardships befell him
So he, peace be upon him, was patient with beautiful patience
Even his bones become weak and weak
Gray hair caught fire on his head
He carried the concerns of the son of Israel after him
The time for his departure from this world has approached
These loyalists are evil and ungodly
They must have a scruple that will deter them from their wrongdoing
Even if they were left without a messenger
They will erase Sharia law and spread corruption
And they change the features of the book
These thoughts continued to occur to Zechariah, peace be upon him, morning and evening
One day he went to his temple where he used to worship
He found Mary, peace be upon him, crouching in her prayer niche
Her obedience is in the hands of her Lord
He saw something in her hands that he had never seen before
Where he saw summer fruits
And it's winter time
So ask her, Mary, where did you get this food?
She said it is from God
God provides for whomever He wills without reckoning
Then Zechariah, peace be upon him, realized with his firm faith the power of God
And he cannot do anything he wants
So turn to God with a present mind
A humble heart and an honest tongue
And he said
My Lord, grant me a guardian from You
He inherits prophecy from me
The reformer will be after me
Zechariah, peace be upon him, called on his Lord
Despite the presence of all obstacles and lack of opportunities
The old man is very old
The wife is old and sterile
But the prophets’ trust in God and their belief in His ability
There is no limit to it
In his supplication, Zechariah showed the highest forms of politeness towards his Creator
Where he, Glory be to Him, pleaded with Him due to the weakness of his body
And as he gets older
And because of the answer to his prayers in the past
God answered the call of His Prophet Zechariah, peace be upon him
Then the angels came to him while he was standing in his prayer niche, praying
So I gave him the good news of a boy named Yahya
No one had this name before him
God gave him this name
He does not know that anyone named him directly from God other than Yahya, peace be upon him
I also told him that this boy
He will be confirming God's command
And an honorable master among his people
And the forbidden does not happen exclusively
And a prophet from among the righteous prophets of God
God Almighty said
Whenever Zechariah entered the sanctuary for her, he found sustenance with her
He said: O Mary, I am yours for this
She said it is from God
God provides for whomever He wills without loss
There Zechariah called upon his Lord
Her Lord said, “Yes, you have good offspring.”
You are the Hearer of supplication
Then the angels called him
He is standing and praying in the mihrab
God gives you good news that he will live
Believing in a word from God, master and confinement
And a prophet of the righteous
When Zechariah, peace be upon him, heard the people
Caused by joy
But he returned and asked his Lord for reassurance
Then my Lord said, “How can I have a son when my wife is barren?”
I have reached a very old age
Far be it from him to be ignorant of God’s power
Or despairing of His mercy and the answer to His prayers
The angels answered him
Was it not God who created you before when you were nothing?
He is able to give you a son
Indeed, that is up to God
Then Zechariah, peace be upon him, asked his Lord for a sign
Through it, he learns that his wife has become pregnant with the boy he told him about
So God answered him
He made a sign of the presence of the lamb that his tongue was tied
He does not speak to people for three days and nights except in symbols
Without any defect or muteness
God Almighty fixed his wife for Zechariah, peace be upon him
This was done by making her give birth after she was sterile
When she became pregnant, Yahya
Zechariah, peace be upon him, came out to his people from his sanctuary
His tongue was tied and he could not speak
So he started addressing the people by gesturing with his hand
He advised them to glorify God morning and evening
And when he mentioned God Almighty
And when he mentioned God Almighty
His tongue was released, God willing
He who speaks to whom He wills with His power
God Almighty said
Remember the mercy of your Lord toward His servant Zechariah
When he called his Lord a hidden call
He said, “My Lord, I am weak in my bones.”
And his head caught fire
And I was not miserable in praying to You, Lord
And I feared the followers behind me
And my wife was barren
And my wife was barren
So grant me a guardian from You
He inherits from me and inherits from the family of Jacob
And make him a satisfied Lord
Oh Zechariah
We give you good news of a boy named Yahya

He said, “Lord, how can I have a son?”

He said as well
Your Lord said, “It is easy for me.”
I created you before

And it was nothing
He said, “My Lord, grant me a sign.”
He said: Your sign is that you will not speak to people for three nights together
So he came out to his people from the mihrab
So He inspired them to glorify God morning and evening
Yahya, peace be upon him, was born
He grew up in the house of prophecy
He was raised by his father, the Prophet Zechariah, peace be upon him
God Almighty commanded him to take the book firmly
To learn the Torah diligently and diligently
He understands its meanings correctly
The rules and etiquette you have gathered shall be applied
The blessing of knowledge and strength lies in work
Yahya, peace be upon him, complied with the command of God Almighty
So he devoted himself to the Torah, learning it and implementing its provisions
He is still a seven-year-old boy
So I was given understanding and worship
It is reported that the boys said, “May God Almighty live with us and let us play.”
He said: Did God Almighty create us and pray?
Among the qualities that God Almighty bestowed on His Prophet Yahya, peace be upon him
The quality of mercy
Where he created mercy in his heart to show compassion to others
It also gave him purity in the soul
She kept him from committing what God had forbidden
And make it a race to do good
He was obedient to God in everything He commanded him to do
Abandoning everything that he was forbidden from doing
May he be very kind to his father and be kind to them
Moreover, he was not arrogant, haughty, and conceited
He was not disobedient or disobeyed by the command of his Lord
Then God wrote for him security and security in three places
The day of his birth, the day of his death, and the day of his resurrection
Sufyan bin Uyain said
The most terrible thing is creation in three places
The day he is born and sees himself emerging from what he was in
And the day he dies, he will see a people whom he had never seen before
And on the day he is resurrected, he will see himself in a great gathering
So God honored him and he lived
So he singled out his peace be upon him in these three circumstances
God Almighty said
O Yahya, take the book firmly
And We gave him judgment when he was a child
Our compassion and purification from us
He was pious
He was kind to his parents and was not tyrannical or disobedient
And peace be upon him the day he was born, the day he dies, and the day he is resurrected alive
It is narrated that Yahya and Jesus, peace be upon them
Met ya day
And Jesus said, “Let him live.”
Ask forgiveness for me, Yahya
You are better than me
He said, “Long live.”
Rather, ask forgiveness for me, O Jesus
You are better than me
Issa said
But you are better than me
I greeted myself
May God bless you
As for the matter of Zechariah, peace be upon him
For he did not give much advice to his people
He forbade them from whatever forbidden things they desired
They were upset with him
They decided to kill him
When he felt that
He ran away from them towards the forest
So he passed by a tree
She called him by the command of God and said
To me, O Prophet of God
So it broke for him
So he entered into it
So she fell in love with him
Then Satan took hold of the edge of his garment
The children of Israel saw his garment
So they put the saw on the tree
So they spread it until they cut him from the waist
He is inside her
Then he took over the matter after him
His son, may peace be upon him
So he began calling his people and admonishing them
He ruled among the people
He shows them the secrets of religion
He shows them the right path
He warns them not to make a mistake
He called people to repent of sins
He was praying to God for them
There was no human being who hated living
Or wish him harm
He was loved for his kindness and alms
His piety, knowledge and virtue
And he lived, peace be upon him
If he stands among people to call them to God
He influenced them to make them cry with the sincerity of his words
Long live, peace be upon him
The children of Israel in Jerusalem one day
Until the mosque was full
They sat on the balconies
He said, “God commanded me to do five words.”
To work with them
The first of them is that you worship God and do not associate anything with Him
And the example of one who associates others with God
Like a man who bought a slave from his pure wealth with gold or paper
He said to him: This is my home and this is my work
So he worked and led to me
He used to work and lead to someone other than his master
Which of you is satisfied to be the servant of God?
Also
God has commanded you to pray
If you pray, do not turn around
God keeps His face focused on His servant’s face in his prayer as long as he does not turn around
And I command you to fast
An example of this is like a man in a group who has a bundle containing musk
Everyone likes or dislikes its smell
The scent of a fasting person is better in the sight of God than the scent of musk
And I command you to give charity
This is like a man captured by the enemy
They tied his hand to his neck
They brought him to behead him
And he said
I will redeem myself from you with little and much
So he ransomed himself from them
And I command you to remember God
The likeness of this is like that of a man whom the enemy quickly pursues
Even if he came upon a strong fortress, he would protect himself from them
Likewise, the servant does not protect himself from Satan except by remembering God
During the reign of Yahya, peace be upon him, the king wanted to marry his brother’s daughter
Where he admired her beauty
She also coveted him and the king
Her mother encouraged her to do so
They knew that this was forbidden in their religion
So the king wanted to take permission from Yahya, peace be upon him
So they went to question him and lure him with money to exclude the king
Yahya, peace be upon him, forbade that
He warned the king against marrying his mahrams
The king became angry with him
His niece was a prostitute
She was still covetous of him and the king
One night she came to the king
She started singing and dancing in front of him
When there was something between her and the king that he liked from her
I asked him for his blood
So he gave it to her
He sent his soldiers to him
They found Yahya, peace be upon him, standing and praying in his prayer niche
So they killed him
They brought his head hard to her
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
There is no one born of Adam who has not sinned
Or they made a mistake
Not Yahya Ibn Zakariya
Narrated by Omar bin Al-Asir, may God be pleased with him
On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said
Every son of Adam will come on the Day of Resurrection with a sin
May the son of Zakariya live
Dear brothers
The name of the Prophet of God, Zechariah, peace be upon him, was mentioned in the Qur’an seven times
The name Yahya, peace be upon him, was mentioned five times in the Qur’an
One of the most important lessons and phrases learned from their stories
First, I decided that the story of Zechariah, peace be upon him, was a general issue
That God Almighty does whatever He wants to do
Without being restricted by reasons, reasons, and habits
He is effective for what he wants
By His power, Glory be to Him, nothing is impossible for Him
Secondly
Who provided Mary with food at the wrong time
He is the one who gave Zechariah, peace be upon him, a son at the wrong time
This is the power of God Almighty
He who says to a thing, “Be,” and it is
Let the servant have confidence in God and not despair of His mercy
Third
Encouragement to remember God a lot and praise and glorify Him
Because with the remembrance of God, hearts are reassured, souls are calmed, and sins and transgressions are washed away
This is God Almighty’s commandment to Zechariah, peace be upon him
Fourth
Wise people turn to the supernatural, Almighty
In order to provide them with good offspring and adult children
Those who devote their worship to God
They spend their money and their lives to spread the word of truth
Spreading virtues and rejecting vices
Fifth
When supplication comes from a sound heart and a sincere tongue
It was hoped for acceptance and worthy of an answer

Hiding the supplication is one of the accepted etiquettes
God praised Zechariah, peace be upon him, by saying:
When he called his Lord a hidden call
Muslims were diligent in supplication
And their voice is not heard
Their prayers were nothing but a whisper between them and their Lord
Seventh
One of the reasons for answering prayers
What God Almighty mentioned in the story of Zechariah, peace be upon him
When Zechariah called upon his Lord, he could not
Do not leave me alone
Lord, do not leave me alone
You are the best of heirs
So We responded to him and granted him life
We fixed a wife for him
They were hastening to do good deeds
They call us with desire and fear
They were submissive to us
Eighth
Al-Qurtubi said
The supplication of Zakaria, peace be upon him
My Lord, grant me good offspring from You
At the boy's request
It is the Sunnah of the Messengers and the Truthful
Al-Bukhari translated this
Chapter on asking for a boy
And he, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to Abu Talha
When you build it
You got married tonight
He said yes
He said, “May God bless you both on your last night.”
So his wife became pregnant
There are many news in this regard
She urges the boy to seek and mourns for him
What a person hopes will benefit him during his life and after his death
Ninth, the believer must take matters seriously and responsibly
This is one of the characteristics of God’s faithful servants
This is derived from the words of God Almighty
O Yahya, take the book firmly
Tenth: Mercy towards servants
Purifying the soul by inducing it to virtues and good deeds
And restrain her from desires and sins
Fear God and be kind to parents
And abandoning sins
It is one of the virtuous qualities that a believing servant should possess
He takes great care of it
And he works to earn it
And make it a practiced behavior in his daily life
