The story of the Queen of Sheba begins with the Prophet Solomon, peace be upon him, inspecting his bird soldiers
Pay attention to the disappearance of the hoopoe among the birds from the army
The Prophet of God, Solomon, peace be upon him, became angry at the hoopoe’s absence
He threatened to punish him severely if he had no excuse for his absence
God Almighty said
He inspected the bird and said, “What is the matter with me that I do not see the hoopoe or was it one of those absent?”
I will punish him with a severe torment, or I will slaughter him, or he will bring me clear authority
Al-Saadi, may God have mercy on him, said: This indicates the perfection of his determination and firmness
He organized his soldiers well and managed matters personally, both small and large
He did not even neglect this matter of inspecting the birds and seeing if they were all there or if anything was missing
This is the case with a man who is firm with his subjects, so do not be distressed by my honorable sister if she is blessed with a firm husband
He checks on you and your offspring, because if he does not do that, the family will be lost
This is what is obligatory for him, because the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
You are all a shepherd and you are all responsible for your flock
The imam is a shepherd and responsible for his flock
A man is a shepherd of his family and is responsible for his flock
The woman is a shepherd in her husband’s house and responsible for her flock
Narrated by Al-Bukhari
And in another narration by Al-Bukhari
The woman is the caretaker of her husband’s house and his children, and she is responsible for them
The flock loses a praiseworthy quality that indicates the shepherd’s interest in the flock
Follow up on their conditions, take care of their affairs, and solve their problems
Al-Tahir bin Asoun, may God have mercy on him, said
The soldiers inspected the emblem of the king and princes
It is one of the purposes of gathering and marching soldiers
The meaning is that you lose the bird as a whole
He said to those who were concerned about the birds, “Why do I not see the hoopoe?”
One of the duties of governors is to inspect the conditions of his subjects
He inspected the workers and others himself
What did Omar do when he left for the Levant in the year seventeen AH?
Or to whomever is entrusted with that
Omar made Muhammad bin Maslamah Al-Ansariyya inspect the workers
And the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the previous hadith
He distributed the responsibility of the family to the husband and wife
He described each of them as a shepherd and having flocks
It is not appropriate for a shepherd to neglect checking on his flock
The entire family is the man’s subject
It is his responsibility to check on his wife's condition
Who do you associate with, who do you hang out with, and where do you go?
What does she keep busy during her day and night?
He checks her health conditions
What medication or treatment you need
And he checks her psychology
What annoys her about his behavior and what does she like?
So that he can make her happy
And on himself in the marital home
The husband needs to be firm in his decisions to take care of the house
This is what the wife needs and looks for from her husband
In fact, it makes her happy
A sensible woman becomes upset if her husband is not decisive in matters of the home and family
He did not follow up on her condition
Firmness does not mean severity
Rather, it means not being lenient and retreating from positions if they are correct

You have a good example in the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
And among his women, the mothers of the believers, are role models
May God bless him and grant him peace, he used to check on the conditions of his wives
And they don't get bored about it
On the authority of Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, she said
I stayed at the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, one night after dinner
Then I came and he said where were you?
I said I was listening to the reading of one of your companions
I have never heard his reading and voice from anyone
She said, so he got up and I stayed with him so I could listen to him
Then he turned to me and said
This is Salem, the client of Abu Hudhayfah
Praise be to God who made my nation like this
Narrated by Ibn Majah
So what the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to Aisha
Where were you?
It is a kind of holding the wife accountable for her late return home
The reason for this delay
That means
The husband has the right to ask such questions when checking on his wife’s condition
Especially if he is suspicious of one of her actions
Then look at the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, standing with her to hear this man’s reading
And his knowledge and interaction with what I mentioned
It is not a denial or doubt about what she said
There is nothing in her words or actions that would cause suspicion or doubt about her
Far be it from that, may God be pleased with her
But a man may doubt his wife’s words or one of her actions
He wants to verify the veracity of what she said
This is his right if it has a legal justification
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said:
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
If I were to stone someone without proof, I would stone so-and-so
There was suspicion about its logic, its appearance, and who would enter it
Narrated by Ibn Majah
This woman is evident from her words, her dress, and her appearance
Any man who enters upon her will suspect that she is an adulteress
But there is no proof that God has prescribed to prove this from the four witnesses
Therefore, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not impose punishment on her
Ibn Battal, may God have mercy on him, said
That is, if you were transgressing God’s right to it, to what was established to indicate it
This woman would have been stoned to show evidence of her immorality
Likewise, if a wife cares for her husband, she loses his condition
The husband may change from one situation to another
The wife sees some signs indicating his change in any matter
Either in his relationship with her, his relationship with his Lord, or otherwise
It is necessary to know this change, its cause, and quickly treat it before it gets worse
This is Aisha, may God be pleased with her, who notices the change in the supplication of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
And he repeated a certain supplication, so she inquired from him to find out the reason
Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, often sought refuge from debtors and sinners
I said, O Messenger of God, how often do you seek refuge from falling in love?
He said that if someone is in debt, he tells lies and makes a promise and breaks it

This auspicious woman notices a change in the face of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
She asks him and makes him feel that she has noticed a change in his condition
This is from the acumen of Maimuna, may God be pleased with her
On the authority of Abdullah bin Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said
Maimuna, may God be pleased with her, told me
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, became one day
Maimuna said, O Messenger of God, I have disapproved of your appearance since today
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Gabriel promised to meet me tonight, but he did not meet me
By God, I will not leave behind
He said, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, continued that day
Then he found himself being dragged by a dog under our tent
So he ordered him to come out
Then he took water in his hand and sprinkled his place
When evening came, Gabriel met him
He said to him: You promised me that you would meet me yesterday
He said yes
But we should not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture
So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, rose on that day
So he ordered the dogs to be killed
He even orders the little wall dog to be killed
And he leaves the big wall dog
Narrated by Muslim
So check on your husband before he changes on you and you don't realize it
Losing children is the responsibility of both spouses
Even if the mother is closer to her children than the father
This is normal
Especially if she is a resident of her home
Dedicated to taking care of her family
Therefore, she was explicitly assigned responsibility for the children
As in Al-Bukhari’s narration
The woman is a shepherd over her husband’s house and his children
She is responsible for them
You are responsible for your children
And about checking their conditions and knowing who they are with
And where do they go?
And if they are late in returning home
I asked about them and why they were late
If the mother feels some imbalance in her children’s lives
Our advice is for her to make her husband feel that way
She should avoid dealing with the matter alone without consulting her husband
This action is one of them
He might say that the matter will get worse and get out of her control
The father's intervention in treating the problem was delayed
It may create a new problem between the father and his children
You are the reason for it
You are also responsible for your home
Checking on the conditions of the home is an important issue in your married life
This inspection
It helps you know the shortcomings in the home
What needs to be repaired or cleaned?
Or add beauty to it
Which makes your husband and children happy
Think about it, my dear sister
This great lesson from the Prophet of God Solomon, peace be upon him
In inspecting the bird
And benefit from it in performing your responsibilities
And those who are under your hand
But what did God’s Prophet Solomon, peace be upon him, do with the hoopoe after that?
How did the Prophet of God, Solomon, peace be upon him, control his king and his soldiers?
