Verse and interpretation
God Almighty said
He warns those who said, “God has taken a son.”
What is meant by them is polytheists
Who say angels are daughters of God
And they said, “The Most Merciful has given birth to a son.”
Rather, they are honored servants
It is not intended for Christians
Who said Christ is the son of God
Because the Meccan Qur’an did not offer a response to the People of the Book
