Forty hadiths on the virtue of charity
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
I am glad that I have no one left
She comes to me a third time and I have a dinar from him
Except for a dinar that I reserve for my debt
Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim
Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, said
Giving and charity was the most beloved thing to him, may God bless him and grant him peace
He was pleased and happy with what he was given
Greater than the pleasure of the one who takes what he takes
He was the most generous of people
His right hand is like a blowing wind
Whenever he was presented to him, he was in need
He preferred it to himself
Sometimes with his food
Sometimes in his clothes
May God bless him and grant him peace. He used to command charity
And he encourages it
He calls for it with his condition and words
Therefore, peace and blessings of God be upon him
