Forty hadiths on the virtue of charity
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Among the deeds and good deeds that will befall a believer after his death
Note that he published it
And a good son left him
And a Qur’an he inherited
Or a mosque he built
Or a house that he built for a wayfarer
Or a river that ran
Or charity he gave from his wealth during his health and life
It follows him after his death
Narrated by Ibn Majah
