Forty hadiths on the virtue of charity
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
A dinar you spent for the sake of God
And a dinar I spent on his neck
And a dinar that I gave in charity to a poor person
And a dinar that you spent on your family
The greatest of them is the reward
What you spent on your family
