Forty hadiths on the virtue of charity
On the authority of Hakim Ibn Hizam, may God be pleased with him
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
The best charity or the best charity in return for wealth
The upper hand is better than the lower hand
And start with those you depend on
Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim
And he said it out of the blue
The meaning of the best charity is the one whose giver remains alive after it
Rich with what was left with him
It is appreciated as the best charity as long as it maintains wealth after it
Its owner depends on it and uses it for his own interests and needs
