Orchard Al-Huda
God Almighty said
Who, when God is mentioned, whose hearts fear, and who are patient over what befalls them, and who establish prayer, and spend, and of what We have provided them, they spend
On the authority of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, he said:
I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say
God said
If my servant is afflicted with my beloved and is patient, I will compensate him for both of them with Paradise
He wants my eyes
Narrated by Al-Bukhari
Benefit
Abu Abdul Rahman Al-Maghazili, may God have mercy on him, said
I entered upon an afflicted man in Hijaz
So I said how can I find you?
He said: I find it more healthy than I am afflicted by it
I find His blessings upon me more than we can count
I said, “Do you find yourself in severe pain?”
He cried and then said
Amuse myself with the pain I am experiencing
What my master promised the people of patience
Of perfect wages in the severity of a difficult day
He said
Then he fainted and stayed awake for a long time
Then they woke up and said
I believe that the people of patience will have an honorable position tomorrow in the Resurrection
Nothing beats the reward of deeds
Not what was pleasing to God Almighty
