Forty hadiths on the virtue of charity
On the authority of Muawiyah Ibn Haidah, may God be pleased with him
On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said
Giving in secret extinguishes the wrath of the Almighty God
Narrated by Al-Tabarani and authenticated by Al-Albani
The meaning of the hadith is secret charity
That is, the expense that a person pays secretly
He is keen on himself to hide it
So that no one knows about it
This charity extinguishes the anger of the Lord
That is, it is a reason for that
So it is possible for someone who has angered his Lord with disobedience
To remedy this by giving charity in secret
Because good deeds remove bad deeds
