The story of the Queen of Seba
Verification before imposing punishment
When the Prophet of God, Solomon, peace be upon him, became angry with the hoopoe
Because of his absence from the army
He threatened to torture or kill him
Unless he comes up with an acceptable excuse
This is the morals of prophecy
There is no punishment without sin
There is no punishment without proof
God Almighty said
He inspected the bird and said, “What is the matter with me that I do not see the hoopoe or was it one of those absent?”
I will punish him with severe punishment or I will slaughter him
Or to bring me clear authority
Al-Saadi, may God have mercy on him, said
His loss of the hoopoe indicates the perfection of his resolve and his management of the king himself
And his cleverness was perfect until he lost this little bird
He said: What is the matter with me that I do not see the hoopoe or is it one of those absent?
That is, is the failure to see it due to the few who were aware of it?
Because it is hidden among these many nations
Or at her door because he was absent without my permission or command
So when you get angry at him and threaten him
He said: If we torture him severely without killing him
Or I will slaughter him, or he will bring me clear evidence
No clear argument for his backwardness
This is the perfection of his piety and fairness
He did not swear to merely punish him with torture or death
Because that can only be a result of sin
His absence may be presumed to be due to a clear excuse
That is why we excluded him because of his piety and intelligence
This is perfect justice
Do we not punish the guilty person immediately after anger?
Rather, we leave him an opportunity to explain his argument
If it is acceptable, leave it
Otherwise, he will be punished with the punishment he deserves for his sin
Al-Tahir bin Ashour, may God have mercy on him, said
His saying is first to come to me with clear authority
He made it the third of the things he made as a punishment for his absence
It is to come up with something to ward off the punishment for itself
Any excuse for being late is acceptable
My dear sister
Be sure before you impose punishment on your children
And give them the opportunity to defend themselves
They explain their point of view
This confirmation is what God commanded His servants to do
To avoid rushing to judge and accuse people
And God Almighty said
O you who believe
If you fight for the sake of God, then investigate
And do not say to those who greeted you
You are not a believer. You seek the reward of the life of this world
God has many spoils
So were you before
It is from God upon you, so investigate
Indeed, God is Acquainted with what you do
Al-Saadi, may God have mercy on him, said
God Almighty commands His faithful servants
If they go out to fight in His cause
And seeking His pleasure
To investigate and confirm all their suspected matters
Matters are of two kinds
Clear and unclear
What is clear and evident does not need to be proven or clarified
Because that is an achievement
As for the unclear issues
A person needs to confirm and understand it
To know whether to submit it or not
Verification in these matters
It gets many benefits
And refraining from great evils
What is the means by which the servant’s religion, mind, and sobriety are known
Unlike rushing things at the beginning
Before its ruling became clear to him
This leads to what should not be done
As happened to those whom God blamed in the verse
When they did not prove themselves and killed those who greeted them
And the more that keeps you away from confirmation
It causes you to be unfair to your children and those around you
Anger
So seek refuge in God from anger and haste
Al-Shafi’i, may God have mercy on him, said
So God commanded someone to carry out His command over any of His servants
He must be clear before he proceeds with it
Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered
Especially in governance
Doesn't the ruler rule when he is angry?
Because anger is feared for two reasons
One is lack of verification
And the other
Anger may change the mind
Its owner takes precedence over what he did not take precedence over
If he wasn't angry
The balance of anger among many parents is imbalanced
The reason is that they do not get angry with God
But they get angry with themselves
If you ask yourself
What makes you angry for yourself and not for God?
I would have found that social hypocrisy is the reason
And social hypocrisy
It is for a person to beautify himself in front of people with what he does not have
Therefore, if your son makes a mistake in any action or behavior in front of people
You would have revolted against him
Your blood boiled and your face turned red
Your blood pressure has risen
The tone of your voice rose to him
Although the same mistake may occur at home
And it does not come from you like what was issued in front of people
It is one of the things that makes mothers and fathers
They do not verify what is attributed to their children
Listening to people's criticism of their children
They believe this criticism directly without proof
The critic may be spiteful or envious
Or actually advised
But it exaggerates the issues
Or he does not know the nature of the human soul in childhood and youth
There should be no haste in dealing with children
Based on the news we hear from people without proof
And the worst thing is that it makes parents angry
They rush to judge their children and do not hesitate
What some mothers do by receiving the husband’s children’s problems
When he returns from work
Which makes his heart anxious for his children even though he does not realize it
Then he rushes to judge and punish them without thinking or delaying

You also need to be patient in judging your children's actions
You also need to be patient in judging the actions of everyone around you
From your brothers, sisters, husband and neighbors
To avoid bad relationships built on haste and anger
A man is originally rational
Because God gave him the perfection of reason and his dominance over emotions
His haste and lack of certainty about what he hears
And issuing punishment to them unjustly under his control
It is considered an ugly trait that does not suit men
All the directions given to the woman in this article
It is for men, first and foremost

Be sure and wait when you hear the news
But is the son of the hoopoe exempt from punishment?
