Verse and interpretation
God Almighty said
And the book was placed, and you saw the criminals fearful of what was in it, and they said, “Woe to us, what is the matter with this book? It does not leave out the small or the big without enumerating them.”
And the book was written on the Day of Resurrection
The book of deeds is placed, which contains the great and the lowly, the small and the great
You see the criminals fearful, that is, afraid of their hideous evil deeds
And they say, oh woe to us!
That is, how sorry we are for what we have lost in our lives
What is the matter with this book? It does not leave out any small or large thing without enumerating it
He counted it, i.e. seized it and memorized it
